The love and passion that I have for cooking come from the excitement and smiles of joy I see when people experience my food.
–Chef Magana
When Chef Magana was seven years old, he knew that he wanted to be a chef. Intrigued by seeing his Nana cook, he remembers the first time he ever cooked eggs and they turned green. Telling his Nana this is what he wanted to do when he grew up, she said, “Silly child, the eggs are green! How are you going to be a Chef?” Since then, he’s spent his life perfecting his craft in pursuit of good food—and properly cooked eggs!
He graduated to the grill, experimenting with his own marinated chicken recipes and the good intention to cook something delicious for his family. In middle school, he took a cooking class that made him more confident in his cooking, and in high school, a teacher encouraged him to consider Le Cordon Bleu post-graduation. This is where his love and passion for cooking, along with the skills and techniques he has carefully honed, really took off. Now, his lifetime of experience has culminated with the creation of The Private Chef Experience.
